London, October 10 (HS): England cricketers Jordan Cox and Emma Lamb have been named the Men’s and Women’s Players of the Year respectively at the prestigious 2025 Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) Awards, recognizing their outstanding performances in the domestic season and successful comebacks to the national setup.
Cox, who enjoyed a remarkable season, earned the honour after scoring a century for Essex in the T20 Blast and finishing as the leading run-scorer in The Hundred. He beat competition from England Test star Joe Root, Ed Barnard and Dom Sibley to take home the award.
