
Delhi, 7 May (H.S.): The military strike, Operation Sindoor, aimed at dismantling terror infrastructure in Pakistan, has elicited strong emotional responses from the families of victims of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives.
Asvari Jagdale, daughter of Santosh Jagdale, expressed her overwhelming joy, stating, We were crying with happiness. Modi has taken revenge. It feels truly different, and our tears of joy just won’t stop. Her sentiments were echoed by others, including Sangita Ganbote from Pune, who lost her husband in the attack, calling the operation a befitting reply. She, along with her son, expressed gratitude for the long-awaited action from the Indian government.
The emotional weight of the strike was also felt by relatives who viewed it as a tribute to their loved ones. The wife of Shubham Dwivedi thanked PM Modi for honoring her husband’s memory and maintaining trust in their leadership.
Similarly, Hyder Shah, father of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, felt a profound sense of justice in the wake of the military action, stating, We are delighted that the killing of those 26 victims has been avenged. He expressed gratitude toward the government and security forces for their decisive action, hoping future attacks could be prevented.
Overall, the operation has brought a sense of closure and relief to the families affected by the tragic events in Pahalgam, showcasing the importance of justice for victims of terrorism.
Indian forces reportedly aimed at key infrastructure used by terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), particularly those involved in planning and executing attacks on Indian soil.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Defence said:
“In the early hours of Wednesday, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.
