Mumbai’s Tata Memorial Hospital gets fake explosion threat

Mumbai, 09 May (HS): Mumbai’s Tata Memorial Hospital

received a fake threat via email. The threat of blowing up the hospital turned

out to be fake, following the security check. Police have registered an offence

against an unknown person and are searching for the source of the email.

The email said that an explosive has been planted in

the hospital and the hospital will be blown up in a short time. The hospital

authorities immediately informed the police and also initiated steps to shift

the patients to safe places.

Bhoiwada Police has beefed up security at the hospital,

which is one of the biggest cancer hospitals in the country.
