Bhubaneswar, 6 May (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Civil Aviation Sri Ram Mohan Naidu for granting in-principle approval for the establishment of a Greenfield airport in Puri.

Welcoming the Centre’s decision, CM Majhi said the upcoming airport will significantly enhance religious tourism, strengthen regional connectivity, and foster overall economic development in the coastal district of Puri. He described it as a landmark step that aligns with Odisha’s long-standing demand and vision for improved infrastructure in one of the country’s most prominent pilgrimage destinations.
