Pakistan faces turmoil from India's retaliation: explosions in Karachi Port and Peshawar

New Delhi, May 09 (HS): Tension is soaring in Pakistan following India’s military response. Late Thursday, multiple explosions (8 to 12 sounds) resounded at Karachi port, prompting a state of emergency and disrupted mobile networks.

The Indian Navy has engaged in precise strikes on strategic targets associated with Karachi as retaliation for ongoing assaults from Pakistan. Simultaneously, strong explosions were reported in Peshawar, causing panic, though no official details on the blast have emerged yet; security agencies are investigating the situation.

Additionally, Pakistani military positions in Quetta faced serial attacks, with armed groups targeting the Frontier Corps headquarters, resulting in explosions and gunfire. In response to these events, Pakistan has heightened security and declared a state of high alert across sensitive areas.
