
Delhi, 8 May (H.S.): For the second consecutive day, Pakistan persisted in shelling the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, following India’s strikes on terrorist locations in Pakistan as retaliation for the Pahalgam attack.
Pakistan struck civilian zones in the Karnah region, launching shells and mortars post-midnight. The Indian military responded efficiently to the gunfire.
So far, there have been no reports of any injuries.
On Wednesday, a soldier from the Indian Army lost his life due to shelling by Pakistan along the Line of Control in the Poonch district.
