
Chennai, October 7(HS): Dabang Delhi K.C. continued their impressive run in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12, securing their fourth consecutive victory with a hard-fought 29–26 win over Jaipur Pink Panthers in Match 67 on Monday. The win marked Delhi’s tenth triumph of the season, further consolidating their position on the points table.
For Jaipur, it was their sixth defeat in twelve matches. Delhi’s success was powered by a rock-solid defensive display — Sandeep picked up 7 points, Ashu added 8, and Neeraj contributed 4. Captain Fazel Atrachali also stood tall at the back, claiming three crucial tackles.
On the Jaipur side, Reza Mirbagheri and Deepanshu registered High-5s, but the team’s raiders failed to convert key opportunities — a shortfall that ultimately cost them the game.The match began with Delhi’s Ashu grabbing the spotlight through an early super raid, though Jaipur’s Deepanshu quickly responded with a decisive tackle.
The first half was evenly contested, with Jaipur narrowly leading 13–12 at the break.Delhi came out stronger in the second half, as Neeraj and Ashu combined brilliantly to force an all-out, giving Delhi an 18–16 advantage. The defensive unit maintained its intensity in the closing stages, repelling Jaipur’s late surge.In a nail-biting finish, Jaipur trimmed the deficit to 26–27, but Neeraj’s final tackle on Samadhi sealed a thrilling victory for the defending champions.
With this result, Dabang Delhi K.C. have hit peak momentum at the right time and are now emerging as strong contenders for the PKL Season 12 playoffs.
