Priya Sethi highlights Modi’s vision of responsive, people-centric Governance

Jammu, Aug 11 (KINS): BJP Vice President and former J&K Minister Priya Sethi on Tuesday heard the grievances of people at her office and assured them of timely action on their genuine concerns.

A large number of people from different areas raised issues related to civic amenities, development works, administrative matters and other public concerns during the interaction.

Sethi gave a patient hearing to the visitors and assured them that their issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities. In several cases, she contacted officials on the spot and directed them to examine the matters and take necessary action on priority.

She stressed that public grievances should not remain pending unnecessarily and called for timely and effective resolution of issues.

Speaking on the occasion, Sethi said serving the people and remaining accessible to them is at the core of public life. She emphasized the need for transparent, accountable and people-oriented governance, with citizens’ concerns receiving due attention.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of governance, she said citizens remain at the centre of the government’s approach, guided by the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.”

Sethi said regular interaction with the public helps understand ground-level challenges and ensures that development and administrative initiatives translate into tangible benefits for citizens.

She also urged officials to maintain close coordination, respond sensitively to public concerns and ensure that genuine grievances are resolved without unnecessary delay.(KINS)
