
New Delhi, May 5 (H.S.): Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit India to attend the India-Russia Annual Summit-2025. In this bilateral dialogue, both leaders will discuss cooperation in various fields, including strategic partnership and collaboration.
During a telephone conversation today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally invited the Russian President to the summit, which will be hosted by India this year. President Putin has accepted the invitation to visit India.
The Kremlin issued a statement on Monday providing information regarding the conversation between the two leaders. It stated, The Indian leader invited the President of Russia to come to India for the traditional annual bilateral summit. The invitation was graciously accepted.
The India-Russia summit is an important bilateral dialogue between the two countries, discussing collaboration in various areas such as strategic partnership, trade, energy, science and technology, nuclear energy, space cooperation, and cultural exchanges. The 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit was held in July 2024 in Moscow, where Prime Minister Modi and Russian President Putin participated. In this summit, both leaders agreed to strengthen and deepen the special and privileged strategic partnership. They condemned terrorism and extremism and committed to jointly fighting against it.
