Srinagar- Authorities on Tuesday intensified search operations for a four-year old boy who fell in a stream in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir the other day.

Hanzalla, a resident of Pulwama district, fell into the Rambiara stream at Dubjan in Shopian two days ago, officials said.

They said search operation was launched by NDRF, SDRF, Police, Army and locals to trace the boy.

MLA Pulwama Waheed Para and several other political leaders visited Dubjan.

They appealed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to support the family of the minor boy in this hour of trial.

“Unimaginable pain in Shopian’s Dubjan. A 3-year-old from a Pulwama family drowned, and the parents are still struggling to recover the little body with no machinery or help. Family is shattered and pleading for support requesting the LG Manoj Sinha to intervene,” Para said on X.
