
New Delhi, May 5 (H.S.): The domestic stock market is witnessing a bullish trend during early trading today. The session began robustly, with initial minor fluctuations followed by a gain in momentum for both the Sensex and Nifty indices.
After the first hour, the Sensex rose by 0.50%, while Nifty increased by 0.53%. Major shares such as Adani Enterprises and Bajaj Finserv saw gains between 2.79% and 5.09%. Conversely, Kotak Mahindra and ONGC recorded declines ranging from 0.62% to 5.24%. The BSE Sensex opened up by 159.63 points at 80,661.62.
Following slight fluctuations, buyers increased their activity, propelling the index to 80,902.80 points, reflecting a surge of 400.81 points by 10:15 am.
The NSE Nifty also commenced trading at 24,419.50 points, up by 72.80 points, and after the first hour, it rose to 24,476.25 points, marking a gain of 129.55 points as buyer enthusiasm dominated the market following initial volatility.
