
New Delhi, September 24 (HS): The domestic bullion market continued its upward streak for the third straight day, with both gold and silver hitting fresh record highs. In today’s trading session, gold surged by ₹2,400 to ₹2,620 per 10 grams, while silver prices recorded a massive jump of ₹2,000 per kilogram, crossing the ₹1.40 lakh mark.Driven by bullish momentum, 24-carat gold today traded between ₹1,15,700 and ₹1,15,850 per 10 grams across major markets in the country.
Meanwhile, 22-carat gold was priced between ₹1,06,000 and ₹1,06,210 per 10 grams. In Delhi, 24-carat gold reached ₹1,15,850 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold ₹1,06,210 per 10 grams. Silver, too, shone brightly, selling at ₹1,40,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,15,700 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold sold at ₹1,06,000 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad recorded retail prices of ₹1,15,750 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and ₹1,06,100 for 22-carat. In Chennai and Kolkata, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,15,700 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,06,000 per 10 grams.
Lucknow saw prices at ₹1,15,850 for 24-carat gold and ₹1,06,210 for 22-carat, while in Patna, the rates stood at ₹1,15,750 and ₹1,06,100 respectively. Jaipur also reported similar highs at ₹1,15,850 (24-carat) and ₹1,06,210 (22-carat).
Bullion rates in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar matched the upward trend, with 24-carat gold trading at ₹1,15,700 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,06,000 per 10 grams.
