17 April (HS): A program was organized in Orai, Jalaun on the 134th

birth anniversary of Baba Saheb. Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader

Sadhvi Niranjan attended it as the chief guest. Here, she fiercely attacked the

Congress and alleged that the Congress has constantly denied the contribution

of the Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar (Babasaheb) and tampered with

his ideas. The BJP government has taken concrete steps to realize Baba Saheb’s dreams;

Congress has always tried to weaken him politically in history.

Addressing

from the stage, she said that Baba Saheb was not just a caste or a person. He

was the architect of the Indian Constitution and the soul of the country. But

the Congress insulted him and tried to weaken the Preamble of the Constitution.

She further said that the BJP government has strengthened the rights of Dalits,

backward and deprived people by preserving the legacy of Baba Saheb.

Recalling

the Emergency, she said that the Congress had suspended the Constitution at

that time. The voice of the media was suppressed, the opposition was put in

jail and democratic values ​​were put at stake. Today’s young generation should

know what the Emergency was and how the Congress had adopted a dictatorial

attitude.

Attacking

on the issue of Bengal, she said that the Mamata Banerjee government has

encouraged illegal Bangladeshi intruders. Hindus are becoming a minority in

areas like Barrackpore, Jahangirpur. For vote bank politics, intruders are

being given ration cards and voting rights, which is a threat to national

security.
